Connect Cables: Attach the red clamp to the positive (+) terminal of the dead battery and the other red clamp to the positive (+) terminal of the live battery. Attach Negative: Connect the black clamp to the negative (-) terminal of the live battery and the other black clamp to an unpainted metal part of the vehicle with the dead battery. Start Engine: Start the vehicle with the live battery, then start the vehicle with the dead battery. Disconnect Safely: Remove cables in reverse order, ensuring clamps do not touch each other.
