While still at the peak of off-road capability, the Discovery 4 is slightly more suited to on the road driving than the Discovery 3. Although it uses the same frame, the Discovery 4 underwent luxurious and contemporary interior upgrades, restyled front grill and rear bumper and was among the first of the Land Rover family to adopt a less boxy shape, closely followed by the Range Rover a year later.
